I’m Jen, a professional Copywriter based in York, UK.

This blog is about writing. Blog writing, Proposal writing, bid writing, tender writing, article writing, journalism, CV writing, novel writing, poetry writing, academic writing, letter writing, web copy writing and any other form of writing apart from will writing.

Writing, coupled with a few snippets about two unruly dogs, publishing fiction, great books to read and more than few references to chilled white wine and the perils of working from home.

I own a business called Stilus Communications, and write novels on the side. My first novel is available to buy as an e-download, in preparation for it coming out as a paperback in the next few months. You can buy it through Chipmunka Publishing, an amazing organisation funded by the Arts Council, here. It costs less money than a packet of cigarettes. Please buy it and write a review, as I earn almost 50 pence from each download and I am saving up to buy a yacht.

I also have a volume of poetry which has just been made available for download, again as a precursor for being published in paperback. That is available here. My second novel can be downloaded here, and a collection of short stories will be available soon.

I have a dog called Nietzsche, a pretend dog called George (who thinks he is a fox), a tortoise called Xavier and a practically-perfect husband. I am a Virginia Woolf obsessive, and rather love Jean Rhys.
