On the new blog writing package…
ByI’ve been developing a new branch of Stilus recently, which offers blog article writing services for people who don’t have the time or inclination to write their own articles. When you’ve been blogging for a while, it can get tricky to come up with new ideas and to keep your site fresh and interesting for your readers.
That’s why I set this service up – to give people a break and provide a service that frees up space, without the quality of their blog being compromised.
So, here’s the lowdown on the new package…
You can choose to use me in a number of different ways. Most people I work with don’t want to get involved with the writing at all, so I research their industry, learn about it, and then write topics according to what I think will enhance SEO and cater for customers to generate sales. On the other hand, I’m really happy writing to a list of subjects and keywords if that is more suitable for you.
My pricing structure:
I charge £10 (UK) per 500 word blog post. If you purchase ten through me, I will offer you two articles for free. Usually my customers ask me to write twelve a month, which keeps their blogs running nicely while they can focus on other things.
I usually work by sending through all twelve posts at the beginning of the month, and asking you to give sign-off for them.
My service guarantee:
- All writing will be error-free, original and hand-crafted
- All projects will be completed on time and exactly to your specifications
- I will check all legal implications of what I am writing to assure accuracy and compliance
- There are no hidden charges in my quotation, and I will never charge more than specified
- I will write in US or UK English as required, and mirror the client’s existing style to ensure ongoing cohesion of content
- I guarantee you will not find an equivalent service for the same price anywhere else.
…and there you have it!
I can’t believe I never thought of this before, as I love blog writing more than any other part of my job. I’ve been blogging for a couple of technical people recently, and am learning so much about new subjects! I hope someone approaches me soon to write a Chocolate tasting blog, wine research, or perhaps something on Virginia Woolf…if you’re out there, hedonistic reader of Modernist literature looking for a ghost-blogger, here I am!

Hi Jen,
This sounds like a really good opportunity for busy bloggers!

Hi Jen – What a great idea! Good luck with your new venture — perhaps you should do a bit of advertising for your services. I bet there are lots of bloggers who would be interested in your articles.
Thanks for your comment, Lisa! I hope this takes off – I think we could all do with someone around to write for us when things get hectic!

This is a great opportunity for bloggers or any one else for that matter. Keep up the great writing Jen. I just hope people realize that you can only write for so many before you have to shut down an offer like this.
May happiness always be yours

Jen,
I hope you get a full schedule of ghost writing for other people’s blogs! It amazes me that people want a blog but hate to write! Somehow that seems like an oxymoron to me, but I love writing. If I didn’t write, I wouldn’t have a blog (or blogs, actually).
I have a couple of blogs that I’m thinking of selling because they no longer really interest me. Maybe having a group of new articles ghost-written for them might freshen them up for either keeping them and making more from them, or making them more desirable to a buyer. $150 for 12 new articles might be well worth the money to sell a blog I really don’t keep up anymore.
Will keep this in mind,
Sherri

Hi Sherri,
It’s so lovely to get both your posts today – thank you.
You’re right – English is a nightmare to perfect, and I do think that as ‘text speak’ becomes more prevalent we’ll see it change dramatically. My biggest bugbear is poor use of apostrophes, which I see everywhere. I got frowned at for being in the local pub the other day and asking for some chalk so I could amend their blackboard of specials! I think I need to relax about it a bit!
Spanish and French certainly seem easier to master, as there are fewer cruel tricks to play in these languages. It’s also good to know that ‘dove’ is a proper word!
Is Irish dialect Gaelic I wonder
On the blogging front – I’m very glad that people who don’t like writing set them up! Long may it continue. I’d be delighted to craft some posts for you if you think it may help to bring your blogs up to speed before selling them on.
With best wishes,
Jen
keep it up, great work
cool service ill see how this goes
